Mark Stang
Bio
Mark has over 40+ years of experience in the machining industry. He started out as a teenager working in a small shop in Denver, promoted to management by the age of 17, and has constantly strives to diversify his knowledge, skills, and experience in the machining industry. This includes processing, design, consulting, assembly, and a wide range of machining and manufacturing specialties.
Over the years, Mark continued his education and pursued extensive experience with programming, set-up, processing and operation of CNC mills and lathes, diamond turning equipment for Nano-manufacturing, manual support equipment mills and lathes, and EDM (Electronic Displacement Machines).
His Quality Assurance background includes GD&T training, Coordinate Measuring Machines, and all other types of measuring devices and processes used in the industry to assure quality parts.
He has worked as a machinist, quality control inspector, process engineer, estimator, shop manager, development and research assistant, prototype machinist, TIG welder and CAD/CAM programmer for many industries including the optical and microwave power industries.
